Auto drivers protest against fare cut
Mangaluru: Auto rickshaw drivers held a protest led by CITU against the order of the DC to reduce the Auto fares. The protest was held in front of the DC office here on Monday January 19 led by Federation of Karnataka Auto rickshaw driver’s union.

Addressing the protesters Vasanth Achari, leader of CITU said, “Only the crude oil rate has been reduced. But the auto spare parts rates, insurance rates are still very high. The auto drivers are in huge loss. Therefore Dpty Commissioner must pull back his order”.

CITU leaders Sunil Kumar Bajal, Krishnappa Gowda, Mohammed Ansar, Keshav, Yogendra and others were present.
