Santoor maestro Amjad Ali Khan was awarded ‘Alva’s Virasat 2015’
Moodabidri: Santoor maestro Amjad Ali Khan was awarded ‘Alva’s Virasat 2015’ by Alva’s Education Foundation at Palace ground in Vidyagiri.

He was awarded at the inaugural function of Alva’s Virasat conducted by Alva’s education foundation.

Receiving the award he said “Swara is Eshwara”, Music is a medium which connects the world. Music is given most importance in southern part of India he uttered.

Founder-chairmen of the institution Dr.M.Mohan Alva and Dr.Vinay Hegde, Nitte education institute were at hand.
