Surathkal: A very holy and auspicious occasion for all the muslim kinsfolks Eid-Milad was celebrated joyously at various parts of Surathkal.
This day in the history is the birth day of Mohammad Mustafa a prophet of muslims is celebrated world wide. And people of Surathkal, Mukka, Katipalla and Krishnapura offered prayers at the mosques.
They greeted others by shaking hands.
There was a huge procession were people danced to the tune of duff.
Special dishes were made and new dresses were brought on the day.
All the mosques were decorated with lights.
