Nandita death case: Three youth questioned by CID

Udupi: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has questioned three youths in connection with the death case of Nandita Poojary.
Sources revealed that during investigation, the team found that two of them were not with the girl when the incident took place. The team is said to have examined the records of the cellphone calls made by them. The team took the third person into custody to inquire him further.
Nandita was found on Anadnagiri hills on October 29. She was hospitalized as she started vomiting in the evening. On October 31 Nandita breathed her last.
The death of Nandita created tense situation in Thirthahalli leading to many protests and political spats. State government had ordered CID probe into the matter. The family members of Nandita and protesters have demanded for a CBI probe in the matter.
