M. Manjunath appointed as new DySP of Kundapur
Kundapur: M. Manjunath has been appointed as the new DySP of Kundapur sub division on Tuesday January 13.

Speaking after taking the charge he said, “I am yet to know about Kundapur. I will take advices from media persons and the locals about the problems of the region and will try to solve it. I need everybody’s support to maintain harmony and peace in the society. The traffic problem in Kundapur will soon be resolved.

Manjunath was born in Kenjur in Udupi and finished his PU education in National Junior college in Barkur. He completed his BA degree in SDM college in Ujire. He joined police department in 1990 and served as sub inspector in Uppinangady, Subrahmanya, Belthangady and in many other stations in Mangaluru.

He was promoted as inspector in 2001 and served in CID for 3 years, 3 years in Immigration department and also as traffic inspector in Mangaluru. He was elevated as DySP in October 2012 and served in Udupi coast guard. He is been serving in the department for 25 years and now has been appointed as Kundapur DySP.
