House looted in Kundapur: Suspicious man arrested by police
Kundapur: House breakers broke open the front door of the house and decamped with silver items kept in the worshipping room. The incident happened in the house belonged to Laxman Rao resident of near Chikkamma Daivada Mane in Koteshwara here on Thursday night November 27.
 
 
 
 
 
Laxman Rao owns a mobile shop in Koteshwar and the father and son duo used to return home during late nights. The women in the house went to temple in Kalavara as it was Shashti (Hindu Holy day) on Thursday at around 6.30pm. The robbers waiting for the chance had entered the house from the front door and broke open the almirah and searched for valuables. They decamped with silver plate and five silver lamps. The incident came to light at around 9.30pm when the occupants came to the house.

Police came to the spot and investigated the matter. Later they questioned a person who was wandering the area suspiciously. When he tried to slip from the custody locals caught him and handed over to the police.
