Manohar Prasad inaugurates new team of Karnataka journalist association
Dubai: The new team of active and free lance journalists of Karnataka which was operating in United Arab Emirates since two decades was inaugurated by senior journalist Manohar Prasad at Dubai Fortune Plaza hotel hall by lighting the lamp on Sunday evening. Chief executive officer of UAE exchange Sudheer Kumar Shetty, President of Karnataka Sangha in Abudabi Sarvotham Shetty, Chairman of Fortune group of hotels Praveen Kumar Shetty and representatives of UAE active journalists were present.

Sarvotham Shetty in his inaugural speech expressed his wishes to the new team. Sudheer Kumar Shetty praised the effort of the journalists in building a strong team. Pravin Kumar Shetty, Chief Editor of Kannadiga world Harish Sherigar, Director of `Nirel’ tulu film Shodhan Prasad, President of Dhwani foundation Prakash Rao Payyar, former President of Sharjah Karnataka Sangha Ganesh Rai, CEO of Radio Spice Harman Louis, President of Abhudabi billava sangha Manohar Tonse wished the new team and gave valuable advices.

Manohar Prasad felicitated:
Manohar Prasad a well known personality in media field is a multi faceted person. He has proved his caliber as a story writer, poet, film actor, news reader, host and historian. He has been honoured with more than 500 awards including Karnataka Rajyotsava award, media academy award. He was felicitated on behalf of the journalist association.
