Inter college Kabaddi tournament in Surathkal

Surathkal: Inter College Kabaddi tournament was held at Surathkal on Wednesday January 14 as a part of Golden jubilee celebration of Karnataka Seva Vrinda (R) Surathkal. The tournament was jointly organised in association with Mangaluru taluk Amateur Kabaddi Association (R) and South Kanara district Amateur Kabaddi Association (R).
The inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday morning 9am. M. Sureshchandra Shetty, President of Karnataka Seva Vrinda, Presided over the programme. North assembly constituency MLA Moidin Bava, Satish Kadambody, BS Sundar Bajpe, Taranath Shetty and Hemanth Shetty were on the stage as chief guests.
Fourteen teams from various parts of the district will play in the tournament. The winning team of the tournament will be awarded with Rs. 10 thousand cash and shield. Rs. 7,000, Rs. 5000 and Rs.5000 will given to the runner ups respectively.
