Strike rumour: Mob burns tyre, pelted stones at KSRTC bus near Adyarkatte

 Mangaluru: Miscreants burnt tires and pelted stones at KSRTC Rajahamsa bus near Adyarkatte in the outskirts of the city on the wee hours of Monday November 3.

As rumour spread in the city on Sunday that there is a strike on Monday a mob gathered near Adyarkatte at around 4.30am on Monday and burnt tires in the middle of the national highway. They then pelted stones at Rajahamsa bus.

Local police rushed to the spot and avoided further vandalism. The fire was doused by the police and a complaint has been filed at Kannur police station.
