Indian iPad app enables better farming in the US!

The India R&D team of Tavant Technologies, a company focused on specialized software development, is enabling farmers in the US to be more productive. How? By arming them with an iPad app that provides information on soil types, plant nutrition, local weather, water levels and more. The largest dairy and farming co-operative  in the US, Land O’Lakes, has leveraged Tavant’s Indian brains to create a "WinField" tool called R7.

This enables Land O’Lakes’  3 lakh partner farmers to access real-time location-specific data through weather and satellite imagery ,helping them to formulate the right farming strategy. By saving crucial man days of labour, these  farmers  produce better quality crops at lower prices.
