Mumbai: Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said he had the option of behaving like Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal and running away (from responsibility), but did not. The 44-year-old CM revealed his battle-hardened side at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in Delhi.
He response was to an observation from Barkha Dutt, group editor, NDTV, that he had accepted the Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP’s) support much like Kejriwal had taken help of the Congress to form the government. “The NCP unilaterally offered support, which we didn't reject. Thought we would get a deal with the Shiv Sena, it did not happen.”
