Hindu outfits protest against police in Punjalakatte

Batwal: Activists of Hindu out fits protested against the police department for not properly handling the assault case on Hindu youth and demanding the arrest of the accused on Tuesday evening December 23 in Punjalkatte.

Addressing the protesters Mahesh Shetty Timarody, convener of Prajaprabhutva Vedike said, Hindus are peace loving people. Hinduism has never taught to destroy other religion. We all live here like children of one mother. But the judiciary and politics has created cracks in the society. Politicians are the one who misinterpreting Hinduism for their selfish motives. If Chief minister tries to intervene in the affairs of mutt, we will be forced to sit in his house. Protecting our religion is our prime responsibility, he added.

Bajarangadal provincial convener Sharan Pumpwell, district youth President Ranjan G. Gowda, former MLA Prabhakar Bangera, Belthangady taluk municipal President Jayanthi, Paledu district municipal member Tulasi Harabe, taluk youth wing secretary Puneeth Kumar, Dharma Jagarana convener Dinakar Adelu, district municipal former vice President A.Tungappa Bangera, district convener of Bajarangadal Bhaskar Dharmastal and many others were present.
