School girl dies as car knock down her: Hindu out fits protest in front of the hospital

Belthangady: Locals and several Hindu outfits protested in front of the Belthangady public hospital on Tuesday December 2 demanding the arrested of car driver who was responsible for the death of a seven year old girl on Monday.

Pooja Laxmi (7) a second standard girl was accompanying her parents after visiting a studio for photographs for school ID. A speeding car hit and the driver fled away from the spot without stopping the car. Pooja was later died in the hospital. As her body was kept in Belthangady hospital for post mortem locals along with some hindu organizations came to the spot and protested demanding the arrest of the accused who had knocked down the little girl.

The protesters stopped agitation only after police officers assured that the car driver will be arrested soon.
