Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, a man was stabbed in broad day light near Kunjathbail this morning. The victim has been identified as Sharif (38), a chicken trader by profession.
As per eye witnesses two persons came in a bike and stabbed the victim using sharp weapons. They pushed another person who tried to stop the attack and fled from the place.
Locals said that Sharif knew the persons who attacked him.
He was rushed to hospital by his elder brother.
Commissioner R Hitendra, CCB inspector Valentine D'Souza and DCP K V Jagadish along with Kavoor police arrived at the spot.
