Mangaluru: The Member of Legislative Council Captain Ganesh Karnik has alleged that by refusing Kannada promotion to the teachers serving in aided schools under the Kannada promotion scheme, the Congress led State government is pursuing anti-Kannada policies.
He was addressing the press persons at the Bharatiya Janata Party office today.
"The Congress has introduced the Bill against the Kannada promotion scheme, which is against the orders passed by the High Court and the Supreme Court in favour of the scheme", he said.
BJP leaders Sanjay Prabhu, Satish Prabhu were present among others.
