Property issue: Brothers fight ends in murder of one

Kasargod: The conflict between brothers regarding property ended in the murder of one person. The incident happened in Chamakochi here on Tuesday night December 23.
The deceased has been identified as Budha Naik (42) son of Devapppa Naik and Honnamma. Bedadka police have arrested Krishna Naik alias Biju, brother of the deceased in connection with the case. He has been handed over to Adoor police.
On Monday night quarrel broke between Budha Naik and his brother Krishna Naik who was living in the neighbourhood. It was a daily business of the brothers as they used to fight about the courtyard which they were sharing, it is said.
On Tuesday night also argument broke between the two and in the process Krishna Naik allegedly stabbed Budha Naik. Although he was rushed to a hospital, he died on the way, police said. The deceased has been survived by wife Seethamma, children Rajesh, Nagesh and Pallavi. The dead body was shifted to Kasargod general hospital for post mortem.
