One person injured in car- lorry head on collision

Kundapur: In a head on collision between a car and lorry one person seriously injured and was admitted to the hospital. The incident took place on Saturday morning, October 25 on NH 66 near Maravanthe Sealand.

The injured person is Ramachandra (38) resident of Honnavar who was sitting on the front seat of the car. He was travelling in the car from Honnavar to Mangalore to see a patient who was admitted in a hospital in Mangalore.

The lorry plying from Kundapur to Byndoor collided with car head on. The driver and the other person in the car escaped without injury. Ramachandra has been admitted to a hospital in Kundapur.

The impact of the accident was so high that the front side of the car was completely damaged.  Gangolly police visited the spot and a case has been filed.
