Ishika Shetty traced in Mumbai?

Udupi: Ishika Shetty, an eighth standard girl from Sharada residential school in Kukkikatte here who went missing 15 days ago has been traced in Mumbai.

Daughter of Elinje Shekhar Shetty- Priya Shetty, Ishika (13) was traced in Bhivandi in Mumbai. Ishika was staying in the hostel of Sharada school. On November 15 night she mysteriously went missing. A letter found in her room stated that she was in love with Faizal Khan a famous TV actor and is going to meet him in Mumbai.

Police has split into eight teams to trace Ishika making Mumbai as their centre of the search. It is learnt that a relative of Ishika had informed the police that she is in a house in Bhivandi.

Further investigation will reveal where Ishika stayed and who was along with her in these days.

Student goes missing in Kumble

Kasargod: A student who had accompanied his mother to town went missing in Kumble on Tuesday November 25.

Ashik (16) a resident of Kattathadka and 10th standard student had accompanied his mother to Kumble. Later he went to nearby mosque but never returned since. A case has been filed at Kumble police station.

Youth went missing in Udupi

Udupi: A youth from Badanidiyoor went missing few days ago and a complaint has been filed in Malpe police station.

Sachin V. Karkera (24) resident of Kadike-Thottam near Babbu swamy temple in Badanidiyoor village here was said to be missing since many days. Police have urged the people having information about him to contact Malpe police.

8th standard girl goes missing in Udupi

Udupi: Parents of a school girl lodged a missing complaint of their daughter in the town police station on Wednesday November 19. The missing student is Eshika Shetty daughter of Yashodha and Shekra Shetty of Elinje in Kinnigoli and was a 8th standard student of  Sharada Residential School in Kunjibettu Kadiyali. Eshika was staying in the hostel of the school in Kunjibettu. Her parents were working in Muscat.

According to sources, on November 15, there was a sports meet in the school. Eshika was present at the meet in the morning but in the evening she did not return to the hostel. The school authorities filed a missing complaint in the town police station. But surprisingly the news did not appear on the police blog nor did it reach the media.

The incident came to light when Eshika’s mother called her on phone. As her mobile was switched off, her mother called the hostel staff in the evening. But there was no proper response from them. Worried about her daughter Yashodha came to Udupi only to know that her daughter was missing. Sub Inspector of town police station Madhu reached the school and gathered all the information about Eshika, Now a search is on for Eshika.

Man went missing in Bantwal

Bantwal: A missing complaint filed in Bantwal police station about a man who went to work in a printing press.

The missing person is named as Sandeep (29) son of Babu Sapalya resident of Kotekani in Sajipa Nadu village here. As per the complaint lodged by his uncle Navin, Sandeep was working in Harsha printing press in Melkar. On Friday morning he left home for press but he never reached the press and went missing.

Sandeep was wearing black pant and shirt with black and white checks. Public are asked to inform Bantwal police about any information received about him on station Ph. No. 08255-235000.

Mentally challenged man went missing

Udupi: A missing case has been filed in Brahmavar police station about Babanna Naik (35) resident of Nukkibettu in Kenjoor village.

Babanna is said to be mentally challenged and left home on October 24. He had never returned since then, said in the complaint.

Boy went missing on his way to home

Kundapur: A missing case of a boy who left to his native place from Bangalore has been filed at Kundapur police station.

The boy has been identified as Kiran (19) son of Shanti Kharvi, resident of Gujjadi. It is stated in the complaint that Kiran was working in a bakery in Bangalore since eight months and on October 21 boarded a KSRTC bus to his hometown. But as he didn’t reach his house and went missing complaint was lodged in the police station.

Decade after wife’s vanishing man files complaint

Mangalore: In an infrequent incident a man filed a missing complaint of his wife after ten years of her disappearance.

Annappa Nayak (50) of Tokkottu is the complainant. His wife Kasturi had gone at large ten years ago. Annappa had not bothered to file a missing complaint at that time and chose to live a lonely life.

He suddenly started thinking of his vanished wife few days back as he met with an accident. Due the accident his leg was fractured and it was difficult for him to lead a lonely life thereafter.

So he thought to file a missing complaint in the police station seeking the police to find his missing wife. Ullala police have taken up the task of finding the disappeared lady.
