Rape victim girl dies in the hospital due to low blood pressure

Udupi: The eighth standard girl who was raped by a gang on October 29 breathed her last on Friday October 31 in Manipal hospital.

The girl was studying in Teerthahalli Pre University College. On October 29 a gang which came in a car while the girl was waiting for bus in the bus stand along with her friends called her name. As the girl reached near the car the men in the car pulled the girl inside the car and kidnapped her. In the evening she was found near Tuduki Anandagiri in Teerthahalli at around 4pm. Some fire wood collectors noticed her and they contacted her parents through the mobile number mentioned in her school identity card.

Later the girl started vomiting and she was admitted to Manipal hospital on Friday. But she breathed her last due low blood pressure. Police have filed a case and searching for the culprits who kidnapped and raped the girl.
