Ganja smugglers try to kill cops by ramming the vehicle

Kasargod: In a filmy style chase sequence a ganja peddling gang tried to kill police men by ramming their vehicle over them. The horrifying incident happened in Kumble on Thursday night November 27.

On a tip off police team guided by DySP T.P Ranjith waited for the ganja smuggling gang near Kumble. Sensing the danger the smugglers who arrived in a Ritz car and Tata Sumo abandoned the Tata Sumo in an interior road and fled away in Ritz car. But when police team chased the car the gang tried to hit the police vehicle and kill the cops.

Police have identified the ganja smugglers as Chayi Kutti, Riyaz of Periyathadka, Annu alias Aravind and Ashraf. The accused are booked under murder attempt and ganja transportation cases.
