Ijaz murder: 7 arrested, sent to judicial custody

Mangaluru: The killers of Ijaz alias Ijja (26) who was brutally murdered at Kannur on Friday were produces before the court and were sent to 15 days of judicial custody.
The arrested were identified as Muhammed Aniz (22) of Kannur, Riyaz (30) from Adyarkatte, Mushtaq Ahmed (30) of Yusufnagar in Kannur, Ajman (21), Hasanabba (29) and Shabaz (22) all from Kannur.
Police said that the five persons were directly involved in the crime while two helped them to exhibit. Riyaz and Jiya were said to be notorious criminals and were involved in many crimes. Ijaz was an accused in Puthu Monu murder case and he was killed to avenge Monu’s murder.
