Dengue in Moodabidre: Health workers create awareness among the people

Moodabidre: fear of dengue prevailed in the people of Moodabidre after two workers residing in Ashraya colony of ward 3 in Alangar were found positive with dengue fever.
Kamala (60) and Jayanthi (30) are the two women who are suffering from dengue and the clinical check up the duo was done in a private clinic in Alangar. Doctors after growing suspicion sent the women to community health centre in Moodabidre. The blood test reports confirmed that the women were suffering from dengue. The blood samples have been sent to district health centre for further confirmation.
The health workers created awareness among the locals about cleanliness and collected blood samples of few people for examination. They also sprinkled mosquito repellent liquids.
