Bus rams over bike: Rider seriously injured

Bantwal: A bike Rider sustained serious injuries when a bus rammed into his bike on NH 75 at Talapady on Tuesday evening, October 21. The injured has been identified as Ranjith resident of Barimaru and was admitted to the hospital. The incident happened when a speeding bus rammed into the backside of his bike while negotiating a turn near Talapady. Ranjith was thrown on the road and bus tire passed over his stomach said eyewitnesses.

He was rushed to a private hospital in Thumbay. Bantwal SI Nandakumar visited the spot a case has been filed. Locals said that this turn near Talapady poses danger to the vehicle goers. In the past also many accidents had happened in this spot as speeding vehicles take a quick turn here. Locals also urge authorities to take proper action to avoid any life loss in the future due to accidents in the region.
