Moodabidre: A mentally depressed youth committed suicide in Moodabidre. The deceased man is identified as Ranjith (27) son of late Gopala Poojary resident of Hamsanagar in Vidyagiri.
Ranjith ended his life while the housemates went to their relative’s house in Todar to attend a religious program at about 3pm. When they returned home at around 10.30pm Ranjith was found hanging in the room using his sister’s chudidar shawl. Ranjith was suffering from depression as he was at home for one without having any job.
