Clash between Congressmen and Bajarang Dal activists

Moodabidre: Clash broke between Congressmen and police personnel when a boy and girl both doctors were found indulging in some illicit activity at Kadalakere sanctuary here on Thursday October 24.The doctor pair who belonged to different communities and together working in same hospital visited Kadalakere sanctuary on Thursday. Bajaranga Dal activists learnt about the news that the doctors pair is indulging in illicit act in an under construction building.
The building was belonged to Chandrahas Sanil, a Congress worker. As people started gathering at the spot Chandrahas came to the place in his vehicle. As he tried to hand over the pair to the police to avoid any conflicts Bajaranga Dal activists opposed to it and waylaid his car. The argument broke between two groups and soon snow balled into a conflict.
Police arrived at the spot and asked Sanil to hand over the pair to their custody. When Sanil refused to hand over the pair police took a task on him. At last Sanil agreed to take the pair to police station in his car. In the police station a Congressman behaved rudely with police which made police furious and they told the man to leave the police station. Panambur ACP Ravikumar visited the station and collected the details.
