14 year boy tries to catch the ball, jumps off the compound wall, dies

Udupi: A 14 year boy lost his life when he tried to catch a ball and jumped from the compound wall of the apartment. The incident happened in Kunjibettu here on Sunday.
The deceased boy has been identified as Hrithik S. Shetty. The boy was playing in the veranda of his flat in Mandavi apartments. The ball fell out of the flat and Hrithik in a bid to catch the ball jumped off the compound wall. He lost the balance and sustained serious injuries on his face, chest and head. The boy was immediately rushed to the hospital but breathed his last at around 11pm. A case of unnatural death has been filed at Udupi rural police station.
