Ullala: Police raided a illegal butcher house being operated in a house near Chembugudde and confiscated more than a quintal of beef and 15 cattle. The accused had managed fled from the site. The house in the question was belonged to M.C Bava in Chembugudde. The bloodied bodies of cattle were found in the spot when the police raided the place. It is said that these cattle were being stolen from nearby houses.
Few months ago the police had raided the same house and seized several cattle. But the illegal cattle killing was still going on in the house. A pickup van used for transporting the cattle was also seized by the police. A case has been filed at Ullala police station.
