DYFI protest against irresponsibility of officers, representatives

Ullala: It is the duty of the elected people to respond to the problem of the voters. They should not think as they are kings. People also must not afraid of these leaders thinking we are the servants of the politicians and should fight for the fundamental rights by waylaying the politicians in the middle of the road said Muneer Katipalla, State President of DYFI.

He was speaking in the protest organized by DYFI Pawoor division against the irresponsibility of the administrators, lacking basic facilities, uncertain water supply and site for the poor. Politicians after getting votes from the people buy flats for themselves across the state and completely neglect the homeless poor people. Education, pure water, shelter are some of the democratic rights of the people. Our representatives have completely failed to provide these facilities to poor people.

People of Pawoor village are suffering from many problems including a good road from many years. Locals forced to drink salted water here. Politicians vanish soon after the election and they reappear only during the next election. Health minister is also paying no heed to the problem of this region. Rafiq Harekala, vice President of Ullala DYFI, Siraj, President of Pawoor DYFI, Secretary Chittaranjan Bhandaramane and many others were present.

“Villagers stroll to the village municipal since many years for their documents. But the officers are demanding Rs.10-15,000 from them. Representatives are reluctant on solving the problem of the locals.” Vishwanath Bangarupade, former President DYFI.
