Dr. Heggade’s 47th anointment anniversary celebrated at Dharmasthala

Belthangady: Many dignitaries from all over Karnataka and abroad wished Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D. Veerendra Heggade on his 47th vardanthyothsava of the Pattabhisheka. The vardanthyotsava celebration was held on Friday October 24. In 1968 on the very same day Heggade was anointed as the 21st Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala. Special pooja was offered at the temple and all basadis around the Kshetra. On this occasion he announced various new schemes for the benefit of the people.
Shri Brahmananda swamiji of Kanyadi Rama temple, Abhayachandra Jain, state sports minister, Harikrishna Punaroor, former state president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, district minister Pradeep Kalkura, Businessman Shreepati Bhat, Bhuvanabhi Rama Udupa, former MLA Prabhakar Bangera, district municipal member Dhanalaxmi, KPCC member Rajashekar Ajri and many other dignitaries visited Dharmasthala and wished Heggade.
In the felicitation programme held at Mahothsava Bhavan to mark the occasion, students and senior employees of the Kshetra were felicitated.
