Mangaluru: Association of Mangaluru University College teachers (AMUCT) organised a protest in front of the office of College joint Director’s office here on Friday December 27. The protest was held demanding wage revival.
Protesters said that the government is directly targeting the teachers. Education department is not at all showing interest in giving away pending salaries of the teachers as per UGC. If this and many other problems of the college teachers are not solved, a huge protest will be organised by shutting the colleges, they warned.
