Accused in burglary and assault granted bail

Karkala: Pradeep Poojary, one of the accused in the burglary and assault case on jewelers in Uppunda was granted conditional bail by Udupi district and sessions court.
On October 7,2014 a group of miscreants attacked jewelers who was on his way after closing the shop with his son and daughter while they were walking on a field in Ammannigadde in Sonarakeri. Miscreants had stabbed father and son and fled away with gold valued around Rs. 12 lakhs.
Police arrested the accused and were sent behind the bars.
