Bantwal: Police seized a lorry laden with wooden logs at Babanakatte in Ananthady village. The driver of the lorry, Narayana Rai has been arrested and was released on bail.
The lorry was illegally transporting wooden logs. The amount of the seized wooden logs is estimated as Rs. 4 lakhs. The operation led by Bantwal forest officer included assistant forest officer H.V Ramesh, forest guards Dejappa, Navin Kumar, staffs Jayaram and Praveen.
