Eight injured in a Tourist bus-Omni head on collision

Kundapur: Eight persons injured in a Tourist bus and Omni car mishap in Halkal near Jadkal in Kolluru police limits on Monday December 22. The injured has been identified as Abhilash (22), Rathnakar (23), Jalaja (35), Raina (36), Shubha (30), Kusuma 42), Nagarathna (36) and Renuka.
The Omni was plying from Kundapur to Kollur and bus was moving from the opposite direction collided head on while negotiating a turn in Halkal. The occupants of Omni car were returning from Yakshagana in Sidhapur. The injured were admitted to a private hospital. A case has been lodged in Kollur police station.
