School teacher ends her life: Family suspects foul play

Kundapur: A married woman committed suicide due to conflicts in the married life. The incident happened in Jadkal near Kollur in Kundapur on Monday December 22. The deceased has been identified as Mini Mathew (28) resident of Jadkal. She was working as a teacher in Sulkod government school.

News in detail: Mini, daughter of Mathew M.J, resident of Soraba in Shivamogga was married to Wilson, a resident of Jadkal and an electrician by profession five years ago. The couple has two children, Michael (5) and Melwyn (3).

On Sunday at around 8pm Mini called her father on phone and it is said that she was happy at that time. But on Monday afternoon the parents of Mini shocked to learn that their daughter was admitted to the hospital under serious condition and by the time they reached Kundapur it was learnt that she was no more.

Father of Mini in a complaint filed in the police station stated that, Wilson used to assault Mini and in the past also she had said that she wants to end her life. Kundapur Tahshildar Gayatri Nayak visited the hospital. As family of the deceased suspect foul play in the death police have started investigation.
