Case filed against BJP minority Secretary for assault on woman

Karkala: A case has been lodged in Ajekaru police station against the BJP minority division Secretary and two others for alleged assault on a woman and threatening. Zeenath (40) resident of near Ennehole Radha Nayak high school is the complainant. Ennehole Mohammed Mira Abbas (40), Sharwan (42) and Khader (43) are the accused.
It is said that Ibrahim was constructing compound hall in the land belongs to him. The accused Mira Abbas arrived at the spot and captured the photos in his mobile phone and threatened to file a complaint with the police and left.
Later in the evening at around 4.30pm Abbas illegally came to the courtyard of Ibrahim along with his accomplices Sharwan and Khader. They abused and assaulted Zeenath and when locals gathered in the spot the accused had fled away from the site, it is said. Zeenath has been admitted to a private hospital. An investigation is on.
