Subrahmanya: Hundreds of devotees took part in the Made mada snana in Kukke Shri Subrahmanya temple on Tuesday November 25.
Men, women and children rolled over the banana leaves containing left overs of food by the concerned people. An appeal was made in the court to ban Made mada snana saying it is humiliating and superstitious. The Apex court has imposed ban on the practice. But it had stated that Ede snana can be performed. Later the state high court had lifted the ban and the hazard to perform Made Mada snana was averted.
